There is no subscription or membership fee for clients. You pay the notary's listed fee plus a $7 platform fee when you book. That's it - no hidden charges.
Are the notaries on NotarySlot verified? +
Yes. Every notary must provide their state commission number and expiry date during signup. We verify this information and display a "Verified" badge on compliant profiles. However, please always bring valid government-issued ID to your appointment.
What types of documents can be notarized? +
Common documents include affidavits, powers of attorney, wills, trusts, real estate documents, vehicle titles, loan signing packages, and business contracts. Check the notary's listed services for specifics.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? +
Cancellations made 24+ hours before the appointment are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations within 24 hours, the notary may retain a portion of the fee. You can manage your bookings by contacting support@notaryslot.com.
Is mobile notary service available in my area? +
Many notaries on NotarySlot offer mobile service - they come to your home, office, or any convenient location. Use the "Mobile notaries only" filter on the search page to find them near you.
How is my payment information kept secure? +
